For Valentine’s Day we usually stay in and make a nice dinner at home. This year we got hit with a big snow storm and both took a snow day, giving us the whole day to spend together and make our special meal. You might remember last year’s Breakfast and Batman, which Matt loved, well this year we decided to do Dinner and The Dark Knight. We made Fettuccine Alfredo from scratch, mixed up some Dark Knight Cocktails, and I made a rich and creamy Peanut Butter Pretzel Pie (coming to the blog this week). It was a good day. I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine’s Day as well!
Now that it’s February 15th, the cards have been read, the chocolates have been eaten, and the flowers are already starting to die. So that’s the very reason it’s called 15 Days of Love, to remind us that the celebration of our love doesn’t have to end on February 14th. It’s important to celebrate each other every day, even when we may not feel like it or want to. Each day we have together is a gift, one that i try to cherish every moment of. I hope you’ll do the same.
Thank you all for following along with the 15 Days of Love!
