This is one of my favorite times of the year. Why you might ask? Because cherries are on sale, which means you guys are getting a week full of cherries (and lemons and strawberries from my contributor)! I’m kicking this fun themed week off with the easy and refreshing Hard Cherry Limeade. It’s the perfect cocktail for those summer afternoons; a little tart, a little sweet, and a little liqueur make this the ideal drink for sipping in the sunshine!
I think the thing I love most about this drink is how easy it is to put together, it’s really just a base of three ingredients and the rest is just for fun! Though I’m a Whiskey/Bourbon girl, I prefer Rum in my fruity drinks, like my Chocolate Mojito. The white rum is super smooth but you can kick things up a bit with Captain Morgan’s Lime Bite Spiced Rum if you prefer. If you want to make this virgin, just leave out the alcohol, it’s still a great and refreshing drink!
