This Lightened Up 7 Layer Dip is loaded with delicious flavors and textures that make it the perfect party dip! Plus it’s super easy to make!
As a kid, I was always drawn to the 7 Layer Dip at the food table of any party. It was my absolute favorite and I would often add spoonful after spoonful of the delicious dip to my plate. Well, I’ve grown up now and my metabolism isn’t quite as fast as it used to be, so now, when I made my own 7 layer dip, I use a lightened up recipe.
This lightened up version of everyone’s favorite party dip uses hummus instead of refried beans and cottage cheese instead of sour cream. You still get the same great flavors and textures as a traditional 7 layer dip.
When it comes to cottage cheese, the only brand I trust is Hood. Hood is a New England-based dairy brand that’s committed to providing only the highest quality dairy products to its customers. You’ll find their cottage cheese and other great products at retailers around New England and down the East Coast.
Hood Cottage Cheese is a great way to eat right and dress up some of your favorite dishes, especially with their line of sweet, savory, and classic cottage cheese flavors. In these Lightened Up 7 Layer Dips, I used Hood Cottage Cheese with Garden Vegetable to add even more flavor to this already yummy dip.
