Whip up a quick and easy weeknight dinner with Michael Angelo’s tasty Three Cheese Baked Ziti and serve it alongside a fresh Salad.
Don’t get me wrong, I love to cook, but on those days when I’ve spent hours recipe testing, cooking, cleaning, and covered in flour, the last thing I want to do is make dinner!
One of my solutions for those crazy weeknights is the wholesome convenience of Michael Angelo’s Three Cheese Baked Ziti, it’s a super yummy meal that hits the spot!
Life is hectic enough for Matt and me, with both our careers in full swing. And for all the parents out there who also have their kids’ practices, play dates, and activities on top of it all, these delicious dinners are truly a lifesaver!
Michael Angelo’s easy-prep meals contain all the goodness of traditional Italian home cooking but without all the work… just bake, serve, and enjoy! Paired with a salad or steamed vegetable, you can have a balanced, crowd-pleasing dinner on the table any night of the week.
One of my favorite Michael Angelo’s dinners is the Three Cheese Baked Ziti, made with melty parmesan, mozzarella, and Romano cheeses and tossed in a light white wine cream sauce. Blended with a touch of garlic, this Italian dish tastes delicious paired alongside my Beet Salad.
This side is made with roasted beets, crisp arugula, creamy goat cheese, and crunchy almonds, and is dressed with a simple mixture of balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
A Savory Beet Salad is perfect when you’re looking to upgrade your usual garden-salad-with-dressing routine!
There are lots of frozen food options out there, but I choose Michael Angelo’s because they follow a simple philosophy: “It tastes good to say no.” With no preservatives, fillers, and additives in any of their food, it doesn’t just taste good to say no, it feels good, too!
This motto helps the brand stays true to its roots. In the 1980’s, founder Sara Agnello decided to package the authentic Italian food she made for her children in her own kitchen. That way, any family could sit down to a hot, delicious meal, even on those crazy-busy nights.
Michael Angelo’s always strives to create nom dishes that taste homemade by refusing to take shortcuts. And when you leave out junky ingredients like chemicals and dyes, capturing fresh flavors in a convenient package is possible.
For now, it’s just Matt and me, but we savor those evenings when we can sit down to an oven-hot meal and catch up with each other after a long day. Sure we’ll get takeout every once in awhile, but that can get really expensive, and there’s just nothing like a comforting meal filled with home-cooked taste!
Look for the green packages in the frozen food aisle and keep a family-size Cheese Baked Ziti, Vegetable Lasagna, Chicken Parmigiana, or any of their other mouthwatering varieties on hand! And when it comes to planning dinner on those hectic nights, keep in mind that “it tastes good to say no” — to sub-par ingredients, that is!
