Summer weekends are always busy, whether your plans include the beach, hiking, mini golf, or the summer’s latest blockbuster, it seems like there’s always something going on. With all the on the go our summers seem to include, sometimes it’s hard to fit in a cozy and delicious breakfast, but it doesn’t have to be that way. NESTLÉ® and I are going to share how you can take back breakfast and still have time to enjoy your summer activities with the ones you love.
I had dreams of making this Caramel Macchiato Stuffed French Toast, but sometimes life gets in the way and it just seemed like too much work, you guys get that, right?. I decided to simplify things and make an overnight french toast, something that requires little time and I don’t have to fuss over. If you’ve never had an overnight french toast, you’re missing out! This easy breakfast dish is one the whole family is sure to love and though it will taste like you slaved over it all morning, you’re going to let your fridge and time do the work for you!
COFFEE-MATE® recently came out with some new liquid creamer flavors, Caramel Macchiato and Classic Vanilla, and I couldn’t wait to try them out. When I worked as a barista in college I must have made thousands of Caramel Macchiatos, they were probably the most ordered beverage. I knew that taking those flavors and pairing them with french toast would make a pretty out of this world breakfast! The liquid creamer really made the dish, it smelled amazing as it baked and tasted even better. This is one of those dishes that you would expect on a holiday morning, but it’s so easy. Surprise your family and let them wake up to the aroma of sweet caramel and dreamy brown sugar!

So remember how I said I was a barista in college, well… I’ve got a confession to make… I’ve never owned a coffee machine. I do have a French Press… but I’ve never use that either. Every now and then though, I’ll crave a vanilla latte, nothing special, just something with a rich classic vanilla flavor, frothy milk and some espresso. But I don’t have an espresso machine either, so I’ve had to find an alternative to my favorite hot and frothy beverage. I call it the Poor Man’s Latte!
It’s got all the great components of a latte, but you don’t need a machine and it’s a whole lot cheaper than a trip to the cafe! NESTLÉ® COFFEE-MATES® New Classic Vanilla Liquid Creamer is the perfect addition to my Poor Man’s Lattes! To make it you’ll need milk, creamer, instant coffee, frozen whipped topping and cinnamon if you’d like. It’s so easy!
Simply scoop a couple spoonfuls of frozen whipped topping into your mug.
Pour a pack of NESCAFÉ® TASTER’S CHOICE® Instant Coffee on top.
Pour in your creamer.
Warm up your milk and pour that over everything and stir until whipped topping and instant coffee dissolves.
Top with extra whipped cream and cinnamon.
For those in the family that prefer a savory breakfast, you can make STOUFFER’S® Morning Classics. It’s a really easy breakfast that packs 25 g of Protein and you can make in right in the microwave on those mornings where you really want to get the day going! A quick and easy breakfast can be more than a banana or a bowl of cereal, it can be awesome and flavorful too. Remember, don’t sacrifice, simplify… that’s what living the good life is all about!
To make this breakfast even easier, all of the ingredients can be picked up right at Walmart on your way home from work!

I’m drinking my Poor Man’s Latte as I type this review! It’s so good! I’m a novice coffee drinker so, this is the perfect drink for me! Now, I did alter the recipe a bit. I added a table spoon of caramel syrup and 2 packs of equal to sweeten it up a bit. But, other than that, The Poor Man’s Latte is the perfect drink! I recommend everyone try it out!
