This Peanut Butter Banana Overnight Oatmeal is easy to prepare and great for busy mornings.
Hello, again! This is Tiffany from picsandpastries. I am back today with a breakfast recipe to share with you. I love breakfast and I especially love oatmeal. I go through phases for how I like fixing my oatmeal and my current method that I am enjoying is overnight oatmeal or some call it refrigerator oatmeal. I’m sure you’ve heard of this and if you haven’t then definitely give it a try. Don’t judge by these pictures though… I mean it is oatmeal after all….. not the prettiest of foods! 🙂
Overnight oatmeal can be made with your favorite toppings and is perfect for busy mornings since it’s already prepared. You can take the jarred oatmeal with you and eat it when you get to work if you’d prefer.
Normally I would shy away from sharing pictures of a bowl filled with what looks like mush. However, this no-cook method for oatmeal is too good not to share. I make mine with peanut butter and bananas. You can jazz this up however you wish so don’t feel like you have to use peanut butter and bananas.
- In a medium bowl combine yogurt, oats, milk, banana honey, flax seed and peanut butter,
- Transfer mixture to a pint jar with a lid or two half-pint jars with lids. Cover and chill overnight or up to three days.
- To serve spoon oatmeal into a small bowl and top with more banana slices, if preferred.
