The dining room is finally coming together, and let me just say…
I’m in love.
I’m in love with the colors, the style, everything. I’m hoping to bring you a reveal with a little giveaway later in the week, but thought I’d share my gallery wall in the meantime! I thought long and hard about this wall, played with different layouts and pieces, and had a lot of fun doing it. I eventually decided that I wanted some symmetry in the size and shapes, but not in the pieces. I’m so excited that it’s finally done and I love the way it came together!
It’s great mix of art and photos of friends and family. I especially love our “Better Together” burlap print in the blue frame from Hope Always Floats! You’ll have a chance to win one of your own when I post my Dining Room Reveal!
I’m so in love with those calves, there’s just something about them. The photo is from Lucy Snowe Photography, and she’ll be giving away a photo in my Dining Room Reveal post as well! I went for neutral tones with hints of blue for a rustic french country feel. You might remember reading about my inspiration here.
I’m really loving faux taxidermy right now, you might remember my lion and wolf from here. So this guy obviously caught my eye at HomeGoods several months back and bringing him home with me just felt like the right thing to do. When Hobby Lobby opened up here in November, I was ecstatic to find this frame that paired with him perfectly. I’ve debated on painting the frame a blue, but for now I’m going to leave it.
The gallery wall couldn’t be complete without a photo from our Christmas Photo Session back in December. I just love this photo from T.Dow Photography of us, it’s one of those “and the world was still” moments/images, or at least I think so. When I had the opportunity to partner with Easy Canvas Prints for this post, I knew it was the perfect photo to have made into a canvas for the gallery wall.
Look at how crisp those edges are, I’ve purchased canvases from other companies that were no where near as great quality and were about the same price. There’s nothing worse than a canvas that isn’t pulled tight and secured properly to it’s frame. The canvas itself is nice and thick and the image printed out beautifully on it. Easy Canvas Prints does such a nice job and creates such beautiful products, I am so excited to have had this opportunity to work with them!

Here’s a sneak peek at some of the details on the buffet, whose makeover you saw here. I haven’t finished putting everything in it’s place, but I’m really loving these pieces!
These French Mustard, Mayo, and Ketchup dishes were a house warming gift back in 2010, and I am so excited to finally have the perfect space to show them off!
And how about this cow creamer, he’s such a little statement don’t you think? I had been wanting one for a while and was going to get a plain white one, but when I found him in the back of an armoire at the Antique Mall, I knew he had to be mine!
So there you have it, our Rustic Gallery Wall and the first real look at our dining room makeover! Stay tuned, the full reveal will be up soon!
