These spooky, sweet Mummy Halloween Cupcakes are the perfect addition to any Halloween celebration, whether it be a killer costume party or a scary movie marathon at home.
Homemade Vanilla Buttercream or Pillsbury Whipped White Frosting
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and line a cupcake pan with liners and set aside.
Combine the cake mix through to the mini chocolate chips in the ingredients list in a stand mixer and beat until combined.
Fill cupcake liners with 1/4 cup batter.
Bake for 18-22 minutes until toothpick comes clean.
Remove from oven and move cupcakes to cooling racks to cool.
Once cupcakes have cooled, use a flat tip to pipe frosting in a circular motion to cover the top of the cupcake, then place two candy eyes on the cupcake and add the frosting in mummy-like strips (see the video above for a full demonstration.
