Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and line a cupcake pan with liners and set aside.
  • Combine the cake mix through to the mini chocolate chips in the ingredients list in a stand mixer and beat until combined.
  • Fill cupcake liners with 1/4 cup batter.
  • Bake for 18-22 minutes until toothpick comes clean.
  • Remove from oven and move cupcakes to cooling racks to cool.
  • Once cupcakes have cooled, use a flat tip to pipe frosting in a circular motion to cover the top of the cupcake, then place two candy eyes on the cupcake and add the frosting in mummy-like strips (see the video above for a full demonstration.
