Ingredients

  • 1 ounce Campari
  • 1 ounce Sweet Red Vermouth
  • 1.5 ounces Rye Whiskey
  • ice
  • orange rind
  • maraschino cherry garnish

Instructions

  • Add Campari, Sweet Vermouth, and Whiskey to an old fashioned glass over ice and stir.
  • Drop the orange rind into the glass and garnish with a maraschino cherry.

Notes

  • Whiskey can be increased to 2 ounces or reduced to 1 ounce depending on taste.
  • Bourbon is sometimes used instead of rye whiskey.
