Two glasses of honey lemonade on a blue table.

Whip up a batch of this delightful Honey Lemonade, a healthy twist on classic lemonade made with honey and fresh lemon juice. No refined sugars here!

Ingredients

  • 1 to 1½ cups Honey Simple Syrup see notes
  • 1 cup lemon juice about 8 to 10 lemons
  • 4 cups water
  • ice
  • lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the 1 to 1½ cups Honey Simple Syrup in advance if possible. To do this, add ¾ cup honey and ¾ cup water to a small saucepan and heat until the honey has dissolved. This will help it mix in better.
  • Add 1 cup of the simple syrup, 1 cup lemon juice, and 4 cups water to a pitcher and stir to combine. Add up to the remaining ½ cup of honey simple syrup to reach the desired balance of tart and sweet.
  • Serve in glasses over ice and garnish with lemon slices and mint or wildflowers.

Notes

  • The kind of honey you use will impact the overall flavor. I personally recommend a wildflower or fruit blossom honey, such as orange or blackberry.
  • Nutritional information is an estimate based on 6 servings and 1.5 cups of honey simple syrup.
