Thanksgiving leftover sliders in a white baking dish with a wooden spatula next to them.

Leftover Thanksgiving Turkey Sliders are like the holidays on a bun! Sweet Hawaiian rolls are brushed with a sweet and savory glaze, filled with turkey, cranberry sauce, and cheddar cheese, then warmed in the oven.

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and cut the slider buns in half top and bottom. Lay the bottom of the rolls into a 11x9-inch baking dish.
  • Place a half slice of cheese on the bottom of each roll. Evenly distribute the turkey on top of the cheese. Evenly distribute the cranberry sauce on top of the turkey. Add another half slice of cheese on top. Place the roll tops back on.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the butter, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, dijon mustard, minced onion, garlic powder, and poppy seeds. Brush the tops of the rolls with this mixture, use it all!
  • Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the cheese is melted, the sliders are heated through, and the tops are golden brown.

Notes

  • This can also be done with deli-style turkey lunchmeat.
  • Any mild-flavored cheese should work for these, but Gruyere or smoked gouda would also be delicious!
  • Homemade dinner rolls may also be used.
