Notes

  • How To Store: Store these krispie treats in an airtight container for up to a week! But I bet any leftovers get eaten up much sooner!
  • How Come My Caramel Rice Krispie Treats Came Out Hard? It could be that the marshmallow mixture was cooked too long or they may have gotten pressed into the pan too hard.
  • Can I Make This Recipe With Cocoa Krispies? Absolutely! I think that would make for a fantastic chocolaty caramel treat!
  • Tips For Perfect Rice Krispies Treats!
    • Don’t press the mixture into the pan too hard! This will likely result in tough, hard rice Krispies treats!
    • Coat your hands with cooking spray or use a piece of parchment paper to gently press the squares into the pan without getting all sticky!
    • Allow the treats to cool completely to allow them to set up before cutting up into squares!
    • Reserving marshmallows to stir in with the cereal allows for added marshmallow flavor! Trust me, it’s a delicious element you don’t want to miss out on!
