Salted Vanilla Cold Foam

This Starbucks Copycat recipe for Homemade Cold Foam is a super easy way to level up your coffee drinks at home!

Ingredients  

  • ¼ cup heavy cream 60mL
  • 2 tablespoons whole milk 15mL, see notes
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla simple syrup 15mL, or syrup of choice
  • 1 pinch salt literally just what you can pinch between two fingers

Instructions

  • Add ¼ cup heavy cream, 2 tablespoons whole milk, 1 tablespoon vanilla simple syrup, and 1 pinch salt to a mason jar with a lid or a glass.

  • If using a mason jar, cover and shake until the mixture is thick but pourable.

  • If using a cup, use a hand frother or hand mixer to whip until thick but pourable.

  • Use as a topping on your favorite cafe beverages.

Notes

  • 2% is the default milk used by Starbucks, so you can use that. Classic cold foam uses nonfat milk. If you are looking for a non-dairy alternative, soy milk will work the best.
