Blueberry Sangria is a large batch cocktail that combines 4 ingredients with blueberries and Cara Cara oranges for a refreshing Summer drink!
Add the blueberries and orange slices to a large pitcher.
Pour in the red wine, blueberry syrup, and Chambord and chill in the refrigerator for 8 hours for best taste.
Remove from the fridge and add in the soda just before serving, then pour into glasses with ice to serve.
- It's best to let the sangria sit for several hours so the flavors can meld.
- You don't want to add the soda initially because it will lose its carbonation.
- Ice will water down the drink and this is why it is only added once ready to serve.
- You can use a lemon-lime soda such as Sierra Mist, Sprite, or 7UP for a sweeter drink or stick with club soda. Sparkling water can also be used.
