Banana Split Pudding Shots are a fun dessert shot that's made with only 4 ingredients and topped with your favorite ice cream toppings! Only 10 minutes of hands-on prep time is needed!

Ingredients

Instructions

  • In a large bowl whisk together the pudding mix, milk, and banana liqueur for 2 minutes.
1 (3.4oz.) box instant vanilla pudding mix, 1 cup whole milk, 1 cup banana liqueur
  • Add 8 ounces of whipped topping and whisk until smooth. Place in the fridge for 5 minutes.
    16 ounces cool whip
  • Arrange plastic shot glasses on a small baking pan for easy transportation. Add 3 tablespoons of the pudding mixture to each cup. Cover with the tops then place them in the fridge for at least 1 hour to chill.
  • When ready to serve, dollop or pipe the additional whipped topping on to each of the shots. Add chocolate syrup, sprinkles, and a maraschino cherry on top.
chocolate syrup, rainbow sprinkles, maraschino cherries

Notes

  • How Long Will Leftover Banana Split Pudding Shots Last? When stored in the refrigerator covered, these shots will remain good for up to 5 days. You could also freeze them for up to 3 months. However, I would only suggest storing leftovers without the toppings.
  • What If I Can’t Find Any Banana Liqueur For This Recipe? That’s ok! You can just use banana pudding mix in place of the vanilla. Then just add in your favorite rum or vodka in place of the liqueur.
  • How Can I Make These With Less Alcohol? You could go with just half of the banana liqueur and add the same amount of milk in its place. Or for more of a fun dessert with just a touch of alcohol only use 1/4th of the liqueur and the rest is milk.
  • How Do I Make Homemade Whipped Cream To Use In This Banana Split Dessert? Whip 2 cups of heavy whipping cream with 1/4 cup of powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Then use half of the whipped cream in the mix and the other half for the topping.
