- 8 fresh mint leaves
- 1 ounce lime juice
- 1 ounce Strawberry Simple Syrup
- crushed ice
- 1½ ounces white rum
- club soda
- mint for garnish
- strawberries for garnish
- lime for garnish
Add the mint leaves, lime juice, and simple syrup to a tall cocktail glass and muddle.
Fill the glass about ¾ of the way with crushed ice.
Add rum and stir with a bar spoon.
Fill the rest of the way with club soda.
Garnish with mint sprigs, strawberries, and sliced lime.
- For a Strawberry Mojito Mocktail, simply leave out the rum and add more club soda!
- Muddling is a technique often used in making craft cocktails. Basically, it means mashing up ingredients (like herbs, berries, or fruit) to release the flavor.
You can either use a bartending muddling tool, a mortar and pestle, or a wooden spoon handle!
