Ingredients For Pumpkin Cold Foam

  • Heavy Cream – This gives the cold foam structure from its high fat content, creating a thick and creamy consistency.
  • Milk Of Choice – Classic cold foam uses nonfat milk; however, I prefer using whole milk for the higher fat content. For a middle ground, you could use 2% milk like Starbucks does when making their cold foam.
  • Pumpkin Spice Sauce – This can be store-bought, but I highly recommend using my Homemade Pumpkin Spice Sauce! My homemade version is made with pumpkin puree, light brown sugar, vanilla bean paste, pumpkin pie spice, salt, and sweetened condensed milk.
  • Pumpkin Pie Spice – If you already have the store-bought pumpkin pie spice on hand, you can use that. If not, you can easily make your own using pantry staple ingredients such as ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, ground allspice, and ground cloves.

How To Make Homemade Pumpkin Cold Foam

  1. Combine heavy cream, milk, pumpkin pie sauce, and pumpkin pie spice in a glass.
  2. Mix the cold foam ingredients using a hand frother until thick.
  3. Serve the Homemade Pumpkin Cold Foam over your favorite iced coffee beverages and enjoy!

This Homemade Pumpkin Cold Foam Recipe yields enough cold foam for one. If you’re serving friends and family, simply double or triple the ingredients to whip up enough pumpkin cold foam for everyone’s drink!

Methods For Homemade Cold Foam

  • Blender – Combine all of the cold foam ingredients into a blender and then blend until it becomes a frothy, thick, but pourable consistency.
  • Jar With Lid – A mason jar would work great for this method! Simply put all of the ingredients into the jar, seal it, and then shake vigorously until the cold foam becomes thick.
  • Shaker Botter – This works the same as the jar method. Transfer the cold foam ingredients into shaker bottle and place the cover back on. Then shake vigorously until the cold foam becomes frothy and thick.
  • Beater – Beat all of the ingredients in a bowl using a handheld mixer until the cold foam froths into a thick yet pourable consistency.
  • French Press – Add all of the ingredients for the pumpkin cold foam into the French press. Then pump it up until it becomes foamy and thick.

How To Store Homemade Pumpkin Cold Foam

To enjoy the peak flavor and texture of this pumpkin cold foam, it’s best to use it when it’s freshly made. This recipe yields enough for one beverage; however, if you make it ahead of time, you can store it in the fridge in a jar with a tight lid for up to 3 days.

To use the pumpkin cold foam once it’s been stored in the fridge, you’ll need to re-froth it. This can be done with a handheld milk frother or by vigorously shaking the jar until it becomes thick and foamy again.
