Strawberry Mojito Ingredients
- White rum – This is traditionally used in mojitos (also called light or silver rum). This is a clear spirit that’s slightly sweet and is found in a lot of fruity cocktails.
- Lime juice – Tart and citrusy to balance the sweetness.
- Fresh mint leaves – These are muddled to release the flavor.
- Club soda – A simple mixer to add liquid and sparkle!
- Strawberry Simple Syrup – This is used instead of regular sugar! It blends easily with the other ingredients and adds juicy goodness. Don’t forget to make it in advance and store it in the refrigerator so it’s ready when you need it!
Non-Alcoholic Strawberry Mojito
For a Strawberry Mojito Mocktail, simply leave out the rum and add more club soda!

How To Make A Strawberry Mojito
- Begin by adding fresh mint leaves to a tall glass.
- Pour in freshly squeezed lime juice.

3. Then add in the homemade Strawberry Simple Syrup.

4. Then use a muddler to muddle the mint with the juice and syrup. You could also add additional fruit and muddle strawberries and lime wedges up too for a more intense fruit flavor.

5. Fill the glass with ice (make sure it’s crushed) and add rum.

6. Use a bar spoon to mix everything up.

7. Top the mojito off with club soda.

How To Serve A Strawberry Mojito
In a highball glass! For garnishes, use lime wedges and fresh strawberries (put a slice in the side and mount it on the glass). If you want to go all out, try lining the rim with granulated sugar.
What does it mean to muddle something?
This technique is often used in making craft cocktails. Basically, it means mashing up ingredients (like herbs, berries, or fruit) to release the flavor.
You can either use a bartending muddling tool, a mortar and pestle, or a wooden spoon handle!
