Rebecca’s Recipe Review
Taste: A delightful mix of nutty chocolate and spiced pumpkin with a hint of marshmallow sweetness.
Texture: Thick and creamy mouthfeel.
Ease: 2/10
Pros: Incredible flavor and twist on a classic PSL.
Cons: You will need to take a little extra time to prep the sauce, but once you make a batch, you can use it in all your coffee drinks for the next week or two.
Would I Make This Again? Yes, I absolutely love this version of a pumpkin spice latte.

Fluffy Pumpkin Latte Ingredients
Brew up this fun spin on a pumpkin latte by first grabbing marshmallow fluff. This ingredient is essentially the creamy goodness that’s found on the inside of a marshmallow.
Look for Marshmallow Fluff of Jet-Puffed Marshmallow Creme in the aisle with the peanut butter, jelly, and Nutella. If you can’t locate it there, it’s an easy order from Amazon!
Once we have the marshmallow creme its time to brew the latte! For this, you need pumpkin spice sauce, Nutella, a pinch of salt, and espresso.
The pumpkin Nutella espresso mixture will then be poured over ice with your choice of milk. For a gourmet coffee shop experience, you can then finish the latte off with Pumpkin Spice Cold Foam or whipped cream!

How To Make A Fluffy Pumpkin Latte
- Smear marshmallow fluff around the sides of a cup using the back of a spoon. Then set the fluff lined cup aside.
- Brew espresso over pumpkin spice sauce, Nutella, and salt.
- Mix the pumpkin espresso mixture thoroughly by using a hand frother.
- Fill a glass with ice and then add your milk of choice to it.
- Pour the pumpkin espresso mixture over the ice and milk.
- Prepare a batch of Pumpkin Spice Cold Foam and then top the Fluffy Pumpkin Latte with it. Enjoy!
Rebecca’s Tips
- If possible, prepare a batch of the pumpkin sauce ahead of time! A batch will make enough sauce for multiple pumpkin lattes, making it even easier to make a pumpkin coffee at the drop of a hat!
- Using the back of a spoon works best to spread the marshmallow fluff onto the inside of the cup due to its slight curve versus a butter knife.
- Be sure to brew the espresso over the pumpkin spice sauce, Nutella, and salt. The heat from the espresso and the hand frother will help to melt the ingredients together into a smooth consistency.
- I prefer making homemade cold foam with whole milk for the higher fat content, whereas classic cold foam uses nonfat milk. However, 2% milk would also work just fine. For a dairy alternative, I find that soy milk works the best.

How To Make Espresso Without An Espresso Machine
If you’re on the fence about investing in an espresso machine, I’d highly recommend this one. If not, there are still lots of ways to create an espresso-based drink without an espresso machine:
- Nespresso Machine – An espresso machine that brews hot water over pre-filled espresso pods.
- Instant Espresso – Nescafé Gold is the best option for instant espresso. I like the Blonde version.
- French Press – A pressed coffee comes out incredibly smooth and flavorful!
- Espresso Concentrate – Nescafé and Café Bustelo offer espresso concentrate, which some stores carry.
- Dark Roast Coffee – Brew a strong, dark roast coffee to use in place of the double shot of espresso.
Fluffy Pumpkin Latte Variations
- Decaf Latte – If it’s late in the day or you just don’t enjoy a caffeine kick, you can make this Pumpkin Fluffy Latte with decaf espresso or decaf cold brew.
- Dairy Free Latte – Use oat milk, soy milk, or the milk alternative of your choice to create a dairy-free latte.
- Hot Pumpkin Fluffy Latte – As the breeze ushers in cooler air, you may want to swap an iced latte out for a hot one! In this case, omit the ice and use steamed milk for a Hot Fluffy Pumpkin Latte.
- Milk Of Choice – Feel free to reach for your milk of choice when making this latte recipe. To sneak some protein in, you could even reach for Fairlife milk.
- Whipped Cream – Swap Pumpkin Spice Cold Foam out for a whipped cream topping!
