Cookie Butter Latte (TikTok Starbucks Secret Menu)
This Cookie Butter Latte is another Starbucks Secret Menu recipe taking TikTok by storm! It’s sweet, creamy, and tastes just like Trader Joe’s Speculoos Cookie Butter!

An Easy Homemade Latte
About a week or so ago, this Cookie Butter Latte started trending on TikTok and it hasn’t slowed down yet! Ever since the Brown Sugar Oatmilk Espresso came out, Starbucks has its new brown sugar simple syrup that baristas are already dreaming up new recipes with!
This particular recipe is made with just 3 simple ingredients and tastes exactly like Trader’s Joe’s Cookie Butter, one of my favorite things, so of course, I had to try this drink out! Lizzo seemed to love it too, maybe as much as Nature’s Cereal!
When we bought our Espresso Machine last year, we did it in a conscious effort to limit our Starbucks splurges, so I decided I would make an easy at-home version, and hopefully, some of you will enjoy this copycat Starbucks secret menu item as well!
Rebecca’s Recipe Review
Taste: Tastes just like a spoonful of Trader Joe’s Speculoos Cookie Butter!
Texture: Smooth and creamy.
Ease: 1/10
Pros: A coffee shop-level drink made right at home in 5 minutes or less for a fraction of the cost.
Cons: None.
Would I Make This Again? Yes!

Cookie Butter Latte Ingredients
This recipe is only made with 3 ingredients so it’s important that you use all of them to get a perfect copycat version at home!
- Brown Sugar Simple Syrup – I make my own since it’s so easy, but you could also purchase some from your local Starbucks. The large Torani bottles usually cost around $15.00 and are good for 30 days once opened.
- Tazo Chai Tea Concentrate – This is not steeped tea, but concentrate that’s similar to what’s used at Starbucks. You should be able to find it right at Target near the tea. It has 32 ounces in it for around $4.00 which should allow you to make around 6 drinks with my recipe.
- Oat Milk – Choose your favorite brand, I like Oat Yeah and Oat-ly.
Feel free to top this with whipped cream too for an even more dessert-like drink!
This cookie butter latte is the BEST drink ever! I am OBSESSED!

Can regular milk be used or is oat milk essential to the taste?
It will change the taste, but would still be delicious – just not really cookie butter flavored.
Is at unsweetened oat milk?
I prefer unsweetened but you can use sweetened if you prefer.
