Fun Christmas Brownies
One of my favorite parts about the holidays is baking up a storm in the kitchen. These Sant Hat Brownies are fun to make with the family because even the kiddos can help!
Go ahead and use a store-bought brownie mix if you’re in a pinch or want to keep things simple. If you prefer a homemade brownie base, use my favorite Fudge Brownie recipe — you won’t regret it!

Ingredients For Santa Hat Brownies
All-Purpose Flour
Kosher Salt
Baking Soda
Large Eggs
Light Brown Sugar
Vegetable Oil
Water
Vanilla Extract
Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Fresh Strawberries
Vanilla Frosting

How To Make Santa Hat Brownies
1. Preheat the oven and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
2. Combine the flour, salt, and baking soda together in a small bowl.
3. Whisk the eggs, brown sugar, and oil together in a separate bowl. Then stir in the water and vanilla extract.
4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir to combine.
5. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave and then stir the melted chocolate into the brownie batter until fully combined. Mix in the remaining chocolate chips.
6. Transfer the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and bake. Afterwards, allow the brownies to cool, then cut them up and prepare to decorate.
7. Use a piping bag to pipe a circle of Frosting on each brownie to secure the strawberry and give the hats a furry trim.

8. Add another dot of frosting on top makes the little pom pom!

How To Freeze Brownies
Make a batch of brownies, let them cool, then cover them in plastic wrap then aluminum foil. They’ll stay good in the freezer for several months.
Then, if you need a last-minute holiday dessert, you’ll already have some brownies on hand. Let them thaw on the counter for a few hours, add the strawberry Santa hats, and you’re done!
