Christmas Popcorn

Christmas Popcorn is an easy a delicious treat made with kettle corn, cake mix, white chocolate, and sprinkles! It’s perfect for a Christmas Movie Night!

This Christmas Treat also makes a great gift! Package it up in little baggies as party favors or to share with friends and family!

Christmas Popcorn Snack Mix is the fun no-bake snack you can make with the kids this holiday season!

Everyone will love this sweet and salty blend of popcorn coated in cake mix and white chocolate with sprinkles and candy tossed in!

Plus, I’m sharing some ideas below for how you can make this Christmas Popcorn recipe even more special!

How To Make Christmas Popcorn

Step 1: In a very large bowl, stir popcorn and cake mix together.

Step 2: Microwave the chocolate on 30 second intervals in a microwave safe bowl until melted and smooth, stirring between each one. Then, stir the melted chocolate into the popcorn bowl, reserving a little for the topping.

Step 3: Add in sprinkles and chocolate candies and stir until well mixed, spread popcorn out on a large pan that’s been lined with parchment paper or wax paper.

Step 4: Drizzle remaining melted white chocolate over the popcorn and top with extra holiday sprinkles. Let sit for 30 to 45 minutes, then package up in airtight containers or consume immediately.

  • Instead of popping popcorn yourself on the stove or using microwave popcorn, save time by using bagged kettle corn!
  • I use Sixlets in my mixture, but you could use M&M’s or another type of candy.

Additional Mix-In Ideas

This Christmas Crunch recipe is very simple, but you can make it extra fun by mixing in some of these ingredients!

  • Pretzels – Add a salty twist to this sweet dish!
  • Chocolate Chips – Use milk, dark, or white chocolate chips for an even sweeter bite!
  • Color – Feel free to drizzle with red and green candy melts for even more festive color!
  • Nuts – Want even more crunch? Add your favorite nuts into the popcorn mixture!
  • Peppermint – White chocolate and peppermint are a delicious combination! Try adding crushed candy canes to the mix!

How Long Does Popcorn Last?

In an airtight container, this snack mix will last about 1 to 2 weeks! Package it in cute tins for holiday giving (and mailing)!
