Ingredients For Hot Pepper Jelly Meatball

To make this Crockpot Meatball Recipe you’ll need just a handful of ingredients and only 5 minutes of hands-on time! First, grab a bag of frozen meatballs!

I recommend using either Italian meatballs or Swedish-style meatballs. However, you could also make your own homemade meatballs to use in this recipe as well!

Just make sure you cook the meatballs first before combing them in the crockpot with the other ingredients. Next up is a bottle of chili sauce!

I used Heinz Chili Sauce but feel free to grab your favorite bottle! Lastly, raspberry jam, hot red pepper jelly, and orange juice round off the ingredients list.

Rebecca’s Tips

  • If you’d like, you can use pre-cooked homemade meatballs. They won’t need as long to cook since they won’t be starting out frozen, unless you have frozen them. I do not recommend making this recipe with uncooked homemade meatballs.
  • For a kick of spice, you can add more chili sauce! Or you could even add in some chili powder or cayenne pepper.

Make These Sweet And Spicy Meatballs Ahead Of Time!

Make hosting even easier by making this appetizer ahead of time! To do so, just cook the meatballs the day before and then store them in the refrigerator. When you’re ready to enjoy them, just toss them back in the crockpot to be reheated!
